First off, I want to thank you for the thoughtful collection of posts which you have shared with us this course.   Last week the links you shared were fabulous leads for me to develop and enrich my own learning.  

I had to chuckle at how you describe whole district &quot;flavour of  the month&quot; pro-d and the article about attending pro-d as a way of avoiding change.  I don&#039;t know how many times I&#039;ve been forced to sit through some boring presentation by a &quot;bigwhig&quot; presenter when all I needed was time to share with colleagues and learn firsthand how to master a new skill which would help me with my job.  

In my curriculum course I did a project on the Teacher as Change Agent which introduced me to Michael Fullan&#039;s work.  He does have good ideas about how to create authentic change. However, the climate has to be receptive and establishing this involves a certain amount of finesse, doesn&#039;t it?

I also appreciated the quote you shared &quot;Beginning quietly, but in inspirational ways, is often the best way to build a climate for sustained efforts that support change.”  Selena and I are with you on this - start small, grassroots but with a big end vision in mind.

Good luck with your action plan.  I am definitely referring to your practical and useful set of directions.  Gosh, you&#039;ve save me tons of time in designing this.  Thanks!
